Images of the header

The jet-hot coated, extremely low restriction header is visually stunning. Since I haven't dyno'd the car with the supercharger and the stock manifold I don't know what the actual difference in horsepower it makes is. It has been my biggest source of inconvenience that was not directly my fault. The problem is that it hangs very low and is constantly scraping the ground.

I have one of the first, and they have changed the flange since, so that it does not hang so low. By now, that is moot as the flange on mine has been ground away nearly back to the welds by constantly bottoming out on my driveway, speedbumps, or even when the road rises suddenly and the suspension compresses.

I have new, stock ride height, springs on my 1969 MGBGT. I'm sure that the problem would be a lot less intrusive on a Rubber Bumper B, which would probably have about twice the ground clearance under the exhaust pipe. I also expect that it would be a lot worse on a lowered car.
